Tourism Video — Come Play

A city wanted to show off the fun things for visitors and tourists to do. We captured a variety of content over a period of several months to produce a tourism spot that continues to introduce the region to new visitors.

The Challenge

Tourism videos often fall into the trap of listing attractions rather than creating desire. The challenge for this project was not demonstrating what existed in the region — it was creating an emotional response that made someone want to come and experience it for themselves. Arranging access to the right people and locations at the right times was a significant logistical challenge.

The Approach

We captured a variety of content across the region over a period of several months and across multiple seasons. This gave us the visual range to show not just what there was to do, but the quality of experience available. The edit was structured to build energy — starting with the everyday charm and moving toward the activities that would create urgency to visit.

The Outcome

The film was used across tourism channels — website, social media, travel media outreach, and event presentations. The multi-season approach gave the film a depth that single-day shoots rarely achieve — viewers could see the region as a year-round destination rather than a seasonal one.
